Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA)
Non-intrusive assessments that review historical records, site conditions, and surrounding land use to identify potential environmental risks or contamination concerns. Phase I ESAs are commonly required for due diligence, financing, property transactions, rezoning, and lease agreements.
Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA)
Intrusive investigations involving soil and/or groundwater sampling to confirm the presence or absence of contamination where potential concerns are identified during a Phase I ESA.
Phase III ESAs – Remediation & Corrective Action Plans
Development and implementation of remediation or corrective action plans to address confirmed contamination. This includes identifying appropriate cleanup strategies, regulatory requirements, monitoring programs, and timelines to restore sites to acceptable environmental standards.
Landfill Monitoring & Closure Planning
Preparation of monitoring and closure plans for active or decommissioned landfills, including groundwater, surface water, gas monitoring, and settlement assessments. Services also include closure system design, drainage control, and post-closure maintenance planning to ensure long-term environmental protection and regulatory compliance.
Intensive Livestock Operation (ILO) Assessments
Environmental assessments for proposed or expanding livestock operations in accordance with Saskatchewan Ministry of Agriculture and Water Security Agency (WSA) requirements. Services include evaluation of manure storage, nutrient management, soil suitability, groundwater and surface water protection, and regulatory setbacks.
Sewage Lagoon Assessments
Assessment, monitoring, and compliance support for municipal and private sewage lagoons, including groundwater protection, liner performance, setback compliance, and regulatory reporting.
