Roadway Rehabilitation and Pavement Design

Project Summary
ND Geosciences Ltd. provided comprehensive geotechnical engineering services to support the evaluation and redesign of existing roadway infrastructure across the City of Saskatoon. The investigation program included selected major arterial roads, collector roads, and local streets, covering more than 220 streets throughout the city. As part of the field program, NDGL completed over 500 pavement cores with base assessments to evaluate pavement structure, thickness, and material conditions. In addition, approximately 75 geotechnical boreholes were drilled at selected locations to characterize subsurface soil conditions and support pavement rehabilitation and redesign efforts.
Services Provided
- Pavement core sampling (500+ cores)
- Base assessment and evaluation
- Geotechnical borehole drilling (75 locations)
- Geotechnical data report
