Nalinda Dissanayake, B.Sc., M.Sc., P.Eng., is the Founder and Senior Geotechnical Engineer of ND Geosciences Ltd., a Saskatchewan-based consulting firm specializing in geotechnical, hydrogeological, environmental, and construction engineering services. With over 17 years of experience, his work is centered on subsurface characterization, foundation engineering, and groundwater systems to support infrastructure, commercial, industrial, and resource development projects under diverse ground conditions.

Technical expertise encompasses geotechnical site investigations, shallow and deep foundation design, slope stability assessments, pile load testing and inspection, and earthworks and subgrade design, supported by comprehensive construction materials testing and field inspection. In the hydrogeological domain, experience includes aquifer testing, groundwater supply development, dewatering design, and regulatory support for water rights licensing. Strong emphasis is placed on the integration of soil and groundwater conditions into practical, performance-based design approaches, supported by the interpretation of in-situ and laboratory testing and the application of established empirical and analytical methods in accordance with Canadian engineering standards.

Nalinda holds Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Civil and Geological Engineering and is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) and Geoscience Licensee in Saskatchewan. Extensive regional experience provides in-depth familiarity with glacial depositional environments, soil variability, groundwater regimes, and regulatory frameworks across the province.
