Hydrogeology and Groundwater Exploration Projects
ND Geosciences Ltd. has extensive experience in groundwater exploration and development projects throughout Saskatchewan. We have supported numerous clients in the assessment, testing, and licensing of groundwater wells, including preparation of technical documentation required for regulatory approvals and water rights authorizations. Our groundwater investigations are conducted in accordance with applicable provincial regulatory requirements and established approval processes, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and in full compliance with governing guidelines.
Potable Water Supply Well Development - Cando, SK
ND Geosciences Ltd. designed and tested a new groundwater well in the Judith River Aquifer for an existing colony of about 150 people near Cando, SK. We provided hydrogeological services for all aspects of the project and assisted the client in obtaining Water Rights Licences (WRL).
Licencing Support for Existing Wells - Cabri, SK
ND Geosciences Ltd. assisted a client with testing and licensing of two (2) existing groundwater wells located southeast of Cabri, SK. Our scope included drilling new observation wells to support the aquifer testing program and assessing the sustainable well yield from the wells, as well as any potential impacts on surrounding groundwater resources.
Hydrogeological Assessment for Irrigation Development - Leader, SK
ND Geosciences Ltd. provided comprehensive hydrogeological consulting services to support the development of a groundwater supply for an irrigation project near Leader, SK. The scope included stratigraphic drilling, production well and observation well installation, step-drawdown testing, and long-term constant-rate pumping test to evaluate aquifer performance and sustainable groundwater yield.

Comprehensive geotechnical investigation including borehole drilling, soil sampling, in-situ testing, and laboratory analysis for a proposed multi-storey building with deep foundation and below-grade parking recommendations.
Subdivision Development - Witchekan Lake First Nation, SK
Geotechnical engineering services for proposed subdivision development including shallow foundation design recommendations, site grading guidance, and earthwork procedures.
Slope Stability Assessment - RM of Corman Park, SK
Geotechnical consulting for a proposed in-ground swimming pool development near the South Saskatchewan River, including slope stability analysis and setback assessment.
Bridge to Culvert Conversion Projects - Various Locations, SK
Provided comprehensive geotechnical consulting services for box and arch culvert foundation design, including drilling, geotechnical instrumentation, soil analysis and engineering recommendations for four existing timber bridge replacement projects across the province.
Roadway Rehabilitation and Pavement Design - Saskatoon, SK
ND Geosciences Ltd. provided comprehensive geotechnical engineering services to support the evaluation and redesign of existing roadway infrastructure across the City of Saskatoon, covering more than 220 streets with over 500 pavement cores and approximately 75 geotechnical boreholes.

Pile Inspection and Construction Supervision - Lanigan, SK
ND Geosciences Ltd. provided full-time construction engineering support, including monitoring of Cast-in-Place (CIP) and Helical Screw Pile (HSP) installation for an industrial project.
PDA Testing of Driven Steel Piles - Humboldt, SK
ND Geosciences Ltd. conducted a dynamic load test to evaluate the performance of driven steel piles at a commercial building project near Humboldt, SK. The test was performed using the Pile Driving Analyzer® (PDA). Upon completion of the test, we provided a comprehensive report to the Client. This report included the information about pile capacity, soil resistance, pile integrity, and hammer efficiency.
